Robot Dreams

Dog and Robot take a stroll through New York. Animatic excerpt compared to final film.

After a wonderful day at the beach, swimming and having fun together, Dog finds that Robot is rusty, and can’t move, having to abandon him at the beach with a broken heart. When he comes back for him the next day, the beach is closed.

The ending of the film, (spoilers ahead) where Robot and Dog reunite, or do they? Robot ultimately decides to stay with Rascal, happy in his new life.
